Has anyone been following Ahmad Solaiman Nourzaie's case from UCSC? I recently came across some details and felt compelled to share what I learned from some students who were present that day. Apparently, the students at the beach had discussed the safety concerns of using a rope to get down the cliff, but it seems like they were trying to make the most of a warm winter day. It’s terrifying how a fun trip can take such a tragic turn so quickly. Ahmad was such a promising student, and his involvement in the university’s Muslim community was significant. Does anyone know if there were ever warnings posted in that area about the waves or tides? It feels like this could happen to anyone trying to enjoy the coastal beauty there. The sheriff's department is still seeking information, so if anyone remembers anything, even if it seems small, it could help.
