I recently came across Lee Anthony Funderburk's case, and I can't help but wonder about the delay in reporting his disappearance. It was over two months before his family filed a report. Does anyone know if there were specific reasons for this? It's just so puzzling to me. Could it have been because of assumptions that he was just away on his own? Or maybe there was a wait-and-see approach hoping he'd turn up? I also wonder what kind of efforts were made to track his last known whereabouts around Clairmore Place. Given the recognizable tattoos Lee had, you'd think someone might have noticed something. It's so difficult for families and investigators when there's such limited information out there. What more can be done with a case this cold?

Hey everyone, I’ve been following Lee Anthony Funderburk's case for a while now and something popped up that got me thinking. Does anyone else find it odd that it took over two months for Lee to be reported missing? I know families sometimes hope a loved one will turn up on their own, but two months seems like quite a long time, especially considering the distinctive tattoos that would make him recognizable. I'm wondering if there was a specific reason behind the delay in reporting or if this has been addressed by investigators at all. Anyone have any insights or similar experiences with delays in missing persons reports?
