Hey everyone,
I've been following the Jevon Cael case and something that's been really sticking with me is the aspect of the school's lockdown. I can't imagine the stress it must have caused for the kids and the parents of George Washington Carver Elementary. Having such a violent incident happen so close to a place that's supposed to be safe for kids just adds another layer of tragedy to this whole situation.
It makes me think about the impact these events have on children who might not even fully understand what happened but can definitely feel the tension and fear. I really hope the community is coming together to offer support not just to Jevon's family, but also to the families of these kids who had to experience this. It's a stark reminder of how gun violence affects everyone in the community, directly or indirectly.
Has there been any news on community support events or counseling for the kids? I think it might be helpful for those who were affected to have a space to process everything.
Thinking of Jevon's family and all those touched by this tragedy. ❤️
I've been following Jevon Cael's case closely, and my heart really goes out to his family, especially his three young sons. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain they must be going through. I wanted to focus on the lockdown at George Washington Carver Elementary School right after the shooting, as this often gets overlooked. It's scary to think about how this incident not only affected Jevon's family but also the young students and staff nearby. A tragedy like this ripples through the whole community, and the emotional impact on those children, who might have had to experience this fear, can't be underestimated. I'm hoping the investigation sees some breakthroughs soon, both for Jevon's family and for the community's sense of safety.
