I’ve been following the tragic case of Ivan Garcia and can’t help but be curious about the roles of Catarina Barajas and Vanessa Cardenas. It must have been incredibly traumatic for them to witness the shooting, especially since it was so unexpected. The fact that they both turned themselves in for questioning might indicate their willingness to cooperate with the investigation. I wonder if their statements gave any substantial insight into the nature of the argument that ended so tragically. I can't begin to imagine what Ivan and Jaime's family is going through, and I hope the investigation provides them with some answers and justice. Anyone else think it's odd that these women were there during the confrontation and then released without charges? Could they have known something was going to happen? Or maybe they were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Thoughts?

I've been following the Garcia case closely, and something about the circumstances just doesn’t sit right with me. Why did Penland feel the need to carry a firearm if he was just living at the motel with his family? The fact that neither of the Garcia brothers was armed makes you wonder what really provoked such a drastic and violent reaction from him. It’s baffling and raises so many questions about what happened that morning. I can't stop thinking about Ivan and Jaime’s family and the immense pain they must be going through, losing both sons in such a senseless act of violence. Does anyone have any insights into what could have led to such a tragedy? Keeping the family in my thoughts as they navigate this difficult time.
