I've been following Garry Dorton's case closely, and something that really stands out to me is the deep connection he had with his community. It's gut-wrenching to think that he spent so much of his life trying to keep kids and families safe from the very violence that claimed his life. I can't shake the image of him visiting his grandmother on her birthday, despite all the dangers he faced. It shows how devoted he was not only to his community work but also to his family. The world needs more people like Garry who are brave enough to stand up for change, even when it's risky. I'm hoping justice is served for him and the community finds a way to carry on his legacy. If anyone knows a way we can contribute to continue Dorton's mission, I'd love to help keep his vision alive.
