I can't stop thinking about the devastating ripple effects this case has had on everyone involved. The extraordinary loss experienced by the families of Abril Onofre, Junior Salinas, and Ruben Alcantara is profound, and I can’t even begin to imagine the depth of their grief.
It’s so frustrating that the investigation seems to be at a standstill. I know the LAPD is doing what they can, but the lack of arrests and concrete leads is distressing. I keep hoping for some kind of break in the case. Gang violence is such a pernicious issue in LA, and it’s exhausting to see it claim the lives of innocent people time and time again.
