Can't stop thinking about the surveillance footage that surfaced during the trial. It’s deeply unsettling to see someone’s final moments captured like that. Watching Shannon trying to escape, you could just sense her desperation. It's devastating knowing her children have to live with those images in their minds. It’s a vivid reminder of what a vibrant and lively person Shannon was, and how senseless and irreversible these acts of violence are. Miguel might be facing a life sentence, but the true life sentence lies with Miguel Jr. and Ariana, who have to navigate life without their mom. I hope they’re surrounded by love and support from their community because they're going to need it now more than ever. Stay strong, kids. You have people rooting for you.
