Has anyone else here been thinking about the safety measures (or lack thereof) along the Del Paso Heights bike trail where Marc Manuel was killed? It's unimaginable that such a violent act could occur in broad daylight at a place many of us consider a space for exercise and peace. I often wonder if there are existing surveillance cameras in the area or if more need to be installed to prevent future incidents like this. It feels vital to protect not just ourselves, but all members of our community who frequent this area. My heart goes out to Marc's family and friends. I hope the additional security can prevent more families from experiencing such a devastating loss.
