Hey everyone, I came across the Anthony Wilmore case from 2011 in New Orleans and have been thinking a lot about how this tragedy reflects the systemic issues the city was facing back then. It's so hard to see that even after all these years, there are families like Anthony's who still don't have the closure they deserve. With the New Orleans Police Department struggling to tackle the wave of violent crime at the time, it must be incredibly frustrating for them too. Does anyone remember if there were efforts from local community groups to support the families of homicide victims during that period? I feel like community engagement could have played a crucial role in supporting families while maybe even assisting with gathering information about these unsolved cases. Sending all my love to Anthony's family and everyone else affected. Hopefully, someday we'll see a turn in how these cases are handled, leading to more resolutions and peace for those left behind.

I've been thinking a lot about the tragic death of Anthony Wilmore recently. It seems like there's just so much we don't know. The fact that he was found on Behrman Highway is really sticking with me. I used to live near that area, and it’s jarring to think about something so terrible happening so close to familiar places. With violent crime being so high, I can't imagine the toll it's taken on the families who've lost loved ones, like Anthony's. My heart goes out to them. The lack of details about his case is frustrating, and I keep wondering if there's any chance of someone coming forward with new information. I really hope the NOPD can crack this case and others like it. It’s unsettling to think that many families still don't have closure. If anyone has any updates on this case or knows if the NOPD is making any progress, please share. It feels like every small piece of information could be crucial in finding justice for Anthony.
