I was looking through old missing persons cases and came across Susan Elaine Price’s case from Chula Vista. Something I can’t wrap my head around is the gap between when she was last seen by her family in 1992 and when she last contacted them in 2016. That’s 24 years of occasional contact, so clearly she wasn’t completely off the grid all that time. What was going on during those years? Did Susan have any acquaintances or colleagues who might have stayed in touch without her family knowing? Or was she traveling and only reaching out when she settled for a bit? It’s like there's a crucial piece missing from the puzzle that someone, somewhere, might hold the key to. Any locals or people familiar with the Chula Vista area back then have any theories on what might have been happening during those years?
