I’ve been following Ryan Harsany’s case closely, and something that's been weighing on my mind is the enormous positive presence he had in Grand Terrace. It’s clear from the outpourings of support that he touched so many lives. I used to visit Cal Skate as a kid, and I remember Ryan always being there with a welcoming smile. I think it says a lot about a person when their legacy is such a loving and supportive community, even after they're gone. It’s comforting to see that Grand Terrace has come together to remember Ryan and stand alongside his family during this difficult period. Has anyone else been to the vigils or memorials? I’m sure Ryan would have been moved by how the community has rallied around his memory. Sending love to everyone feeling this loss.

It's been really weighing on my mind how Ryan was such a well-loved figure in Grand Terrace. I didn't know him personally, but the outpouring of love and shared memories from the community after his senseless murder really shows what kind of person he was. People have shared so many stories about how Ryan always took time for everyone—whether it was a child at the skating rink learning to skate or someone just needing a smile on a rough day. I can't even begin to imagine the pain his family, especially his twin brother, is going through. It's one thing to lose a loved one, but in such a violent and cruel way? It's unimaginable. The arrest of Tre'elle Potts, while significant, doesn’t erase the trauma and absence Ryan's family and friends feel every day. I truly hope that the legal proceedings bring some clarity and closure for Ryan's family. Knowing justice is served can sometimes aid in the healing process, even if it's just a small step. My heart goes out to the entire community and everyone who cared for Ryan.

I recently came across some information about the alarm system at Cal Skate Grand Terrace and wanted to share my thoughts here. It's really puzzling to me how the silent robbery alarm was triggered that night. From what I understand, Ryan was very meticulous about security at the rink, which makes me wonder if someone who knew the place well could have been involved in bypassing or tripping the system. I know Tre'elle Potts was arrested, but was there anyone else familiar with the rink’s layout who could have been complicit, either knowingly or unknowingly? My heart goes out to Ryan’s family and friends—especially his twin brother Brian. I can only imagine the frustration and unanswered questions they must be dealing with. It's truly devastating to think that Ryan, who seemed to bring so much joy to Grand Terrace, was taken in such a horrific manner. I'm hoping more details come to light during the trial to provide a clearer picture of what happened that night. Stay strong, everyone.
