I was recently reading more into Alba Valladares' case, and I can't stop thinking about the profound void her death must have left on the streets of Algiers. The Candy Lady wasn't just a neighborhood fixture; she was a beacon of hope and kindness for so many. It breaks my heart to think that someone could do this to such a giving soul. I have a strong feeling that the police might be right in suggesting she knew her killer. It seems like whoever did this might have taken advantage of her trusting nature, and that's incredibly unsettling. I also can’t help but wonder if any of the neighborhood kids she used to look after saw something that day. As kids, we sometimes notice things that adults overlook or dismiss. If there's anyone from that time reading this, or anyone who knows someone who might know more, please come forward. Every little bit of information could be crucial. Let's keep Alba’s memory alive and hope that justice is served someday for her family and the community she loved so much. ?
