I've been following the posts here and wanted to bring up something about the community's response to Jose Ruben Ayon's tragic death. It's really moving to see how everyone has come together during such a painful time. There's been a lot of talk around town about setting up neighborhood watch programs or increasing community patrols to improve safety. It's a sobering reminder of how much violence impacts not just the families involved, but entire communities. Does anyone know if any of these initiatives have taken off?
