Has anyone else been following the Griechen case from Pilot Point? I find it really strange that he left his cell phone behind before disappearing. It makes me wonder if he was planning on going off the grid or if maybe he felt like someone might use it to track him. Leaving it with someone else seems intentional, but then again, it could mean nothing. I’m also curious why his missing report only came through two weeks later. That seems like a long time for nobody to notice he hadn't made his trip or reached out. Did he typically go off-radar for stretches, or does this suggest something else? I hope someone closer to the case might have more insights about his pattern of behavior around that time or perhaps thoughts on that pending assault case in King Salmon. Thoughts?

I've been following Griechen's case for a while now, and something that's always puzzled me is why he left his cell phone with someone else before disappearing. I understand that authorities say foul play isn't suspected, but the circumstances just seem so strange to me.
