Does anyone know if there’s been any progress on community efforts to improve safety in South Sacramento after Clifton Keene’s murder? His tragic death has shaken our neighborhood, and I can’t stop thinking about how these senseless acts of violence affect not just the victims and their families, but every one of us. I’ve heard there were some talks about increasing police patrols, but I'm wondering if there are any grassroots or community-driven initiatives that have started up since then? It’s distressing knowing that Clifton, a young father just visiting family, got caught up in something so devastating. We need to ensure the safety of our community and stop these tragedies from happening. My thoughts are with Clifton's loved ones and the woman who was left paralyzed; no one should have to endure such pain. Please share if anyone knows about local meetings or movements working to create change.
Does anyone know more about the measures being taken to support the paralyzed woman after the shooting? It's been difficult to piece together updates from news sources. My heart goes out to her and her family, especially knowing how drastically her life has changed overnight. I'm curious if there are any community efforts to assist her and maybe even Clifton Keene's family. With the ongoing talks about increasing police presence and tackling gang violence in the area, I hope there's also some focus on supporting those directly affected by this tragic event. If anyone has more info on how the community is rallying around these victims, it would be great to hear about it.
