Has anyone looked into Chris Williams' circle of friends around the time of his murder? It seems like those closest to a victim can often provide valuable insights, even if indirectly. Given how many unsolved cases there were in New Orleans back then, I wonder if this angle was fully explored. It's difficult to imagine what Chris's family is going through, knowing that every passing year may make it even harder to find answers. I've read about families in similar situations hiring private investigators when the official avenues hit a standstill, but I haven't found any information saying his family did something similar. It's frustrating to think there might be pieces of evidence or clues that could break the case open just sitting out there. Anyone have thoughts or additional information on this? Sending strength to Chris's family and friends in their search for closure.
Has anyone looked into the area where Chris Williams lived in New Orleans during that time? I’ve read that neighborhoods can often influence the speed and direction of investigations, especially when dealing with resource constraints. Given the city’s struggle with rising crime rates back then, it's horrifying to think about how many cases might have slipped through the cracks. It’s so frustrating that Chris’s family is left with an open wound, knowing that someone out there has the answers they desperately need. Maybe there are people familiar with that area who can provide some insights or context? I’m hoping that shedding some light on where Chris spent his days might uncover something new. My thoughts are with his loved ones.
