I’ve been reading about Tymon Malik Rodgers’ case and something keeps sticking out to me—why did Brelen Page drive by multiple times before the shooting? It seems like he was trying to make sure Tymon was there or possibly aiming to intimidate beforehand. It’s chilling to think about how those moments unfolded for everyone involved. Tymon’s family and friends, waiting to start a new year, ended up with their lives forever altered. Such actions make you wonder what kind of premeditation was going through Page’s mind, and if there were signs that others might have noticed beforehand. I hope Tymon’s loved ones find some solace in the conviction, even though the pain of losing someone so senselessly never truly goes away. Gun violence has left a lasting scar on yet another community, and it’s crucial we keep pressing for changes to prevent tragedies like this from happening again.
