I’ve been thinking a lot about the legal aftermath and how these lawsuits play such a critical role in cases like Ramon's. It must be incredibly challenging for those who were close to him, especially Angela Josey, to relive the trauma through court proceedings while fighting for some form of justice. Filing a wrongful death lawsuit against Kevin Stewart and others shows just how determined they are to hold the responsible parties accountable, even when details are sparse. It's a testament to their love and dedication to Ramon. I'm hoping the proceedings bring them some sense of peace, but I'm aware that no legal outcome can truly replace the void left by his loss. ❤
Hey everyone,
I’ve been closely following the murder case of Ramon Navarro Buie, and something that stands out to me is the timing of the wrongful death lawsuit filed by Angela Josey. It's just so hard to imagine the additional layer of pain the family must be going through, dealing with legal proceedings while trying to heal from such a profound loss. It seems that filing in May 2020 was a courageous step by Angela, reflecting the determination to seek accountability for Ramon's death.
But the question that’s been on my mind is what evidence or information she might have had to feel confident in naming Kevin Stewart and others as defendants. Was there something uncovered during the LAPD's investigation, or is it based on information from the community? I think this aspect of the case is crucial, not just for addressing the legal matters but also for understanding the dynamics that led to Ramon’s tragic death.
My thoughts are with Ramon’s family and friends. It's truly unfair to see them going through such a difficult process. Hopefully, justice will prevail soon. Anyone else have insights or thoughts on this? Would love to hear what others think.
