Has anyone else been following the testimony from Osby's trial? The part that really stood out to me was the discussion about the Snapchat videos. It's chilling to think that warnings were shared so openly on social media. I can't imagine the fear Joshua must've felt knowing threats were out there and the possibility that someone might act on them. It's truly alarming how this situation escalated due to a previous altercation. My heart goes out to Joshua's friends and family; it must be incredibly difficult to relive these events through the trial. I hope that other young people realize the significance of these threats and take them seriously. Social media can be such a dangerous conduit for impulsive actions. I've been reading up on "ghost guns" after they were brought up in court. It's shocking how accessible these things have become. I'm wondering if there might be more legislation in the future to clamp down on this. This case is a heartbreaking reminder that retaliation only leads to more pain and loss. Such senseless violence.

I've been following this case for a bit, and one thing that really sticks out to me is the role social media played in escalating everything. It seems like Osby’s Snapchat posts added a lot of fuel to the fire right before this tragic event unfolded. It’s chilling to think how quickly a situation can spiral out of control when threats are made public online. For Joshua’s family and friends, having those threatening videos circulating must have been deeply distressing. It's a reminder of how digital communication can sometimes incite real-world violence, and I hope platforms will consider taking a stand against such displays in the future. This case is such a reminder of the senseless loss caused by reckless actions and how words, once posted, can become dangerously real. Keeping the Elysee family in my thoughts during this incredibly difficult time.
