Hey everyone, I just wanted to talk a bit about Chad Davis's tragic death back in 2012—specifically the impact it had on the community. I remember reading that after Chad's murder, there was a real push from local residents and neighborhood groups to organize more community events and initiatives aimed at reclaiming the streets. It's awful to think that such a toxic environment existed, but seeing neighborhoods come together trying to make a change was really moving. People were hosting peace walks, and I recall a couple of local artists even created murals in remembrance of Chad and others who lost their lives to violence. It was an incredible display of strength and unity, but it’s such a shame it took a tragedy to spark that kind of action. I hope that community-led efforts have continued to this day. Do any of you know what those community movements led to or if there have been improvements? It’d be comforting to know that something positive came out of such a terrible loss. My thoughts are with Chad's family and friends even now.
