On December 25, 2013, Silvestre Diaz, age 41, was brutally murdered in a shocking incident in Chicago, Illinois. The crime occurred on the 2500 block of North Kildare Avenue in the Hermosa neighborhood, where Diaz was living with his girlfriend and her nephew, Alexis Valdez, who was 18 years old at the time.
