I recently came across this tragic incident involving Manpreet Kaur and her son, Gurman Singh, and it’s been weighing heavily on my mind. As a mother myself, I cannot begin to imagine the terror and sadness they must have experienced. It's unsettling how Manpreet felt trapped and controlled, yet no one around perhaps saw the full extent of her suffering or danger. It really makes me think about how crucial it is for us to be vigilant and supportive of those we suspect may be in similar situations. I hope their story can somehow raise awareness about these issues, and that more resources or signs are available for those who might feel isolated or afraid to speak up. My thoughts go out to Manpreet’s family and everyone in the Ceres community affected by this senseless tragedy.
