I was looking through some older cases and came across the tragic loss of Oneil Uriel Reid. It left me wondering about the fast-food restaurant security measures in that area and if improving them could help prevent such senseless acts in the future. It’s chilling to think that a simple stroll to grab a bite can end in such tragedy. Has anyone discussed or know if there were any surveillance cameras in the vicinity? I’m hoping they were operational and captured something that could aid the investigation. It frustrates me to think about how often these cases go cold without enough evidence. Reid’s family deserves answers and justice, not to mention safety for other residents in Inglewood.
