Hi everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the area where Ian Brown was tragically killed. I'm not from around there, so I did some digging to understand more about Vermont Square and its surroundings. It seems like it's one of those neighborhoods that's been grappling with safety issues and, unfortunately, Ian's murder isn't an isolated incident there. I've read that community efforts are underway to curb violence and support youth, which is genuinely hopeful. Does anyone local know if there's a way to contribute or help from afar? It feels important to support positive change in these areas that are often forgotten, especially in Ian's memory. My heart goes out to his family and friends, who must be going through an unimaginable time. I truly hope for justice and some form of peace for them.
