Hey everyone, I came across the news about the tragic death of Barret Adin Slome, and I can't help but think about how eerie it must be for the residents living in the Laguna Lido condominiums now. It’s supposed to be a secure place — with gates and fencing, a kind of oasis where people feel safe, especially in a peaceful town like Laguna Beach. Can you imagine waking up to the sound of breaking glass and gunshots? It must have been terrifying for everyone there, witnessing or hearing about a murder in their community, especially since they haven’t had a homicide in over a year. My heart goes out to the residents dealing with this trauma, and of course, to Slome’s family and friends as they navigate this tragedy. I hope the authorities find some solid leads soon, for everyone's sake. What a world we live in. Stay safe, everyone.
