I’ve been following the case of Kevin Lewis and his family and can’t shake the feeling of disbelief and sadness. I read somewhere that Kevin was planning to propose to his girlfriend the following month. It’s incredibly tragic to think about the future he was robbed of, not to mention all the lives that have been affected by this senseless act. It's a poignant reminder of the personal stories behind these statistics on violence. I’m holding the Lewis family close in my thoughts during this difficult time, hoping that someday justice will be served and that our communities can find a way to create a safer environment for everyone. Does anyone have updates on how the community is rallying around the family?
