I can't shake the eerie feeling surrounding the location where Dean Martinez was found. That intersection of Gilman Springs Road and Highway 79 has always seemed a bit isolated to me. I drove by there once, and it's one of those places you wouldn't typically think much of, but now it leaves a heavy weight knowing what happened. I can't imagine the fear and confusion for those who discovered his body. It’s unnerving to think about the circumstances that led him there and how terrifying his final moments must have been. My thoughts are with his family and friends as they navigate through this dark time, seeking answers and justice. It also reminds us how important it is to report anything out of the ordinary to the authorities, no matter how insignificant it might seem at first. If anyone in the area noticed anything unusual that night, I hope they're coming forward.
