Another aspect of this tragic case that's been on my mind is the location and timing of the incident. It happened around 5:30 a.m. near 11125 De Garmo Street in Pacoima. That’s a time when most people are just starting their day or heading to work. It makes me wonder why the suspects chose that exact moment to approach Jovel and his friend. Was it truly random, or were the suspects looking for someone in particular at that hour? It's unsettling to think about how a simple act of waiting for a ride turned fatal. From all accounts, Rony seemed to be an innocent young man with no ties to gangs, just at the wrong place at the wrong time. It's deeply frustrating that his family is left without answers, especially knowing they lost someone who didn’t seem to have any involvement in dangerous activities. My heart goes out to his loved ones, especially his little boy. It's a stark reminder of how random acts of violence can tear apart lives and communities. If anyone in the community has more information about that morning, please come forward. It could make all the difference in bringing those responsible to justice and provide some solace to Rony's family.
