Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Perry Aquino Bagamaspad Jr. case since it happened, and something that's been on my mind is the ocean conditions on that day. Some locals have mentioned that snorkeling at Tunnels Beach can be tricky due to the currents, especially if you're unfamiliar with the area. Given that Perry was visiting from California, I'm wondering how much experience he had with Hawaii's waters. Could the ocean conditions have contributed to what happened that day? Has anyone seen any info about weather or surf reports from when he went missing? Any insight would be appreciated.

Has anyone else looked into the weather and water conditions on September 17, 2017, at Tunnels Beach? I just did a quick search and found that ocean conditions can be pretty unpredictable in that area, especially with the currents and waves. It makes me wonder if something like that could have played a part in Perry’s disappearance. Those waters can be deceivingly dangerous, even for experienced swimmers or snorkelers. Just throwing this out there because understanding the environment might give some context to what happened that day. Any locals or frequent visitors have insights or similar experiences to share?
