Hey everyone, I've been following the Miguel Marquez case, and my heart goes out to his family and friends. I recently attended one of the vigils organized in his memory, and it was a deeply moving experience. It was encouraging to see the community come together, not only to remember Miguel but to stand united against the violence that took him away. One thing that stood out to me was the speeches from those who knew him, painting a picture of a man who was loved and respected. Hearing about the impact he had on people's lives added another layer to how senseless this tragedy is. It's infuriating to think that his life was taken in such a violent manner, and justice still seems like a distant hope. The community's reluctance to come forward with information is definitely worrying, but being at the vigil reminded me of the power of collective action. Hopefully, events like these can spark enough courage in those who have information to step forward. Miguel deserves justice, and his family deserves answers.
