Hey everyone,
I’ve been following Manuel Sandoval Jr.'s tragic case, and I keep thinking about the warning signs of escalating violence in neighborhoods with similar issues. It’s incredibly hard to process this, but I can't help but wonder if there were any signs that things might be brewing in that area before that awful day in October 2020. I've read that sometimes small disputes or conflicts can lead up to something more serious.
Could there have been prior incidents, perhaps not directly related to Manuel's tragic event but indicative of rising tensions in East LA? I think community awareness and engagement could play a big role in prevention. If only there were more resources available or community outreach to address these early signs. Just so heartbreaking for Manuel’s family and everyone in the area.
Also, do any of you know if there were any community meetings or local efforts to address gun violence more effectively in that particular neighborhood around the time this happened? Stay safe, everyone.
Thanks for your thoughts and any insights you might have.
