Did anyone else catch the interview with Sergeant Carla Johnson from the NOPD discussing Eldridge Young’s case? I watched it last night and found it quite enlightening about the current challenges faced by the department. Sergeant Johnson emphasized the need for community cooperation in solving these cases. It's a harrowing reminder of the hurdles these investigators face every day. Despite the complexities, she seemed genuinely passionate about her work and determined to bring closure to Eldridge’s family. My heart goes out to them—waiting all these years for justice can't be easy. Has anyone in the community noticed notable improvements lately, or have any personal experiences to share about interactions with the NOPD? Would love to hear your thoughts.
