I’ve been thinking about how the gig economy, especially for delivery drivers, exposes workers to real risks that often go unnoticed. It's so distressing to hear about what happened to Roderick Thomas. He was just trying to earn a living, like many others out there. The fact that he was targeted while doing his job in Cypress Park is a harsh reminder of the dangers these workers face.
What gets me is the courage he showed after being shot, having the presence of mind to call for help despite enduring such trauma. It speaks volumes about his bravery. My thoughts are with his family and everyone who knew him. They deserve answers and closure.
If anyone has information that could help solve this case, it's crucial to come forward. Even the smallest detail could be the key. Let's hope the community continues to offer the support and information needed to assist the LAPD in this investigation. We need to ensure that his family doesn’t have to wait any longer for justice.
Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of Roderick Thomas closely, and one thing that's been on my mind is the area where he was shot—Cypress Park near Randall Court. Does anyone here know if that spot has a history of violence or if there have been similar incidents in the past? It makes me wonder if the attacker could be someone familiar with the neighborhood or just an unfortunate coincidence.
It's hard to imagine what Roderick’s family must be going through, especially when there are still no concrete leads. If anyone has lived or worked around there, maybe you’ve noticed something that could help his family find the answers they need.
Sending thoughts to Roderick’s loved ones. No one should have to go through this kind of loss without justice.
Stay safe, everyone.
