I just can't stop thinking about Emmanuel's girlfriend and the trauma she must be going through. It's hard to imagine witnessing something so horrific and then having the courage to try to save him by driving to Wilson Park and calling 911. Her bravery in such a terrifying situation deserves recognition, and my heart truly goes out to her. Moreover, it's chilling to think about how an ordinary decision to go buy something can turn so deadly. It really makes you question the false sense of security we sometimes have in situations like that. I hope she is getting all the support she needs to heal from this ordeal, both from loved ones and mental health professionals. Emmanuel's family and friends must be struggling immensely as well. Sending all the love and strength to everyone affected by this senseless act of violence.
