Has anyone else been thinking about the impact of community support (or the lack thereof) in cases like Cardell Brown's? It's so troubling that in 2013, New Orleans was overwhelmed by violence, making it incredibly difficult for individual cases to stand out and get the attention they deserve. I can't help but wonder if more community engagement and outcry could have brought some momentum to Cardell’s investigation. Often it seems that community pressure can sometimes urge law enforcement to take further action or possibly even bring forward new witnesses who might have crucial information. It’s heart-wrenching to think that Cardell's loved ones may still be seeking closure. What are your thoughts? Could a stronger sense of community have made a difference here?
