Has anyone else heard about the search efforts involving the canine teams for James Ryding back in December 2017? I've recently been reading up on similar cases, and I find it so fascinating (and a bit puzzling) how these teams operate in missing persons situations. They were apparently out across Niagara Falls and even into the wooded areas but, from what I understand, they didn't pick up a solid trail for James. With his regular walking routes and the cold weather, it makes you wonder about the factors that could have affected the scent tracking. Does anyone here have more insight into how these searches work, especially in cold climates or urban areas? I keep thinking if there was something that might’ve interfered with the dogs' ability to track. Thoughts, anyone?
