Just finished reading about the tragic loss of Edward Tin Kwan and his mother, Loretta Ho. My heart goes out to their family and friends. The whole situation is so difficult to take in. One thing that's been on my mind is the impact on their community in Diamond Bar. It seems like such a close-knit place, and I can only imagine how deeply this has affected everyone there.
I grew up in a small town, too, and whenever something like this happens, it really shakes everyone to the core. People talk about it at the grocery store, church, everywhere. The loss of Edward and Loretta must be incredibly painful for those who knew them. My thoughts are with them as they navigate this devastating time.
If anyone has insight into how the community is coming together to support one another, I’d love to hear about it. It’s important we keep their memory alive and remember the impact they made during their lives.
I've been following the case of Edward Tin Kwan and his mother, Loretta Ho, and something that's really been bothering me is how the community is coping with such a tragic event. Diamond Bar isn't a big place, and something like this rocks everyone to their core. I can’t stop thinking about the friends and classmates of Edward, who all described him as a bright and kind person.
I'm curious, as this case unfolds, has there been any community support or counseling services set up for those who might be struggling with the fallout from this? It’s such a painful situation, and the impact of losing two community members in such a violent way might have lingering effects on those who knew them and even those who didn't. If anyone has any info or has participated in local support efforts, I’d love to hear about it. It’s so important we take care of each other and ensure their memories are honored through community healing and support.
