I've been following the Valley Transportation Authority tragedy, and I can't stop thinking about Taptejdeep Singh and what a courageous person he was. I just read somewhere that, during those horrific moments, he was actually warning some colleagues to get away, trying to save lives even when his was in jeopardy. It's so deeply moving to think he was thinking of others right till the end. What's also been weighing on my mind is how workplaces handle these warning signs. I read that there were clear indicators about the shooter's behavior, yet it seems no concrete actions were taken. It worries me how easily such red flags can be ignored until it's too late. My heart goes out to Singh's family. It angers and saddens me that this could've been prevented. As the lawsuits unfold, I'm hoping they shine a light on the need for stricter safety protocols and mental health support in the workplace. We owe it to Singh and the others to ensure this doesn't happen again.

I’ve been thinking a lot about Taptejdeep Singh’s incredible bravery during the VTA shooting. It’s devastating to consider that his heroic actions in the face of such unimaginable danger were even necessary. From what I've gathered, he spent his last moments trying to warn others and help them escape. It’s just heartbreaking knowing his family lost him far too soon. This makes me ponder on workplace safety measures and if they could ever be enough. Why should it fall on people like Singh to save others in such terrifying situations? His courage is inspiring, but I hope his sacrifice spurs changes so that no one has to be in his position again. My thoughts are with his family and the other victims’ loved ones as they navigate through this difficult journey.
