It's been over a decade since Cordell Jackson was tragically taken from us, and I can't help but feel for his family and friends who live with this loss every day. His case, like so many others from that weekend, echoes the struggles faced by New Orleans in the fight against gun violence. One aspect that really hits hard is how resource constraints within the local police department seemed to hinder progress in solving these cases. It's deeply frustrating that justice remains elusive for Cordell and others. Sending warmth and healing thoughts to everyone affected by this senseless violence. Does anyone know if there’s been any recent advocacy or initiatives aimed at addressing these resource issues? It seems like a systemic problem that’s long overdue for a solution.
