I’ve been following the Cesar Alfonso Pena case for a while now, and something that really stuck out to me is the location of the crime. It's just so unsettling to think about how this happened near such a major route like the southbound 110 Freeway. For those familiar with the area around Elysian Park, it’s pretty active, and you'd think someone might’ve seen or heard something.
What gets to me is how it's been over two years, and it feels like we're no closer to finding out what exactly happened that night. I wish there was a way to emphasize just how crucial every detail could be in a situation like this. Maybe someone passing by that Sunday saw something odd or caught a glimpse of a vehicle that didn't belong. It’s hard to imagine the pain Cesar’s family must be enduring, not having answers or someone held accountable.
If you’re in the area or know anyone who was around Elysian Park that day, please consider passing any tidbit of information to the LAPD or Crime Stoppers. Sometimes the smallest detail can make the biggest difference. Let's keep this discussion going and hopefully find some justice for Cesar.

Did anyone ever find out more about that mysterious car seen near the scene of Cesar's shooting? I remember there was talk about a dark sedan being spotted in the area right before and after the incident. It’s so frustrating that something like this could happen in broad daylight, and yet the case is still cold. My heart goes out to Cesar's family and friends. I can't begin to imagine how difficult it must be for them, knowing that whoever did this is still out there. If anyone has updates or remembers more about that car, even the smallest detail might help. It’s just so important that we keep this discussion alive and continue to support the search for justice for Cesar.

I was thinking today about the technology side of these investigations. I’ve seen discussions here and there about how crucial surveillance footage can be in solving cases, and it makes me wonder about Cesar Alfonso Pena's case. Given the location near the 110 Freeway in LA, it’s hard to believe there wouldn't be any traffic cameras or nearby surveillance footage. I know the LAPD has been working hard, but does anyone know if there’s been any update about them finding or reviewing footage from that area? It seems like that could potentially provide valuable clues.
