I've been following the case of Cameron Gabriel's tragic murder, and while justice has been served with Benson's conviction, I can't help but think about Cameron's roommate who found him. Can you imagine returning from a weekend away to discover something so horrific? It's a situation that no one should have to endure. I hope they have a strong support system during such an incredibly difficult time. It just underscores how our lives can change in an instant. My thoughts are with Cameron's family, friends, and everyone impacted by this senseless act of violence.

I've been following the Cameron Gabriel case pretty closely, and something that really sticks with me is the absolute terror the victim must have felt during the attack. It's just unimaginable to think how a peaceful, kind person like Cameron, who's well-loved by friends and family, had to experience such violence.
Learning that Damon Allen Benson forced a woman to reveal Cam’s address using intimidation and cruelty is unbelievably disturbing. It really sheds light on Benson's dangerous mindset and his willingness to harm others to get what he wanted. It’s chilling to think how premeditated and calculated this entire situation was and how it just spiraled out of control due to jealousy.
It's bittersweet that Benson got what he deserved with a life sentence, but I can't help but feel for Cameron’s family and friends who have to carry this loss with them. I hope they find some comfort in knowing that Benson won't be able to harm anyone else again. Thinking of everyone who knew and loved Cameron. We must continue to raise awareness about these kinds of dangers in hopes of preventing further tragedies.
