My Dee i always look up your name but this time I came across this page and im glad I did because I can finally feel all this weight that I been carrying for almost 4 years lift off my shoulders, there’s not a day that goes by that you don’t come to mind and even though life isn’t fair im just glad you got the justice you deserve. I will always cherish all the memories we shared and even though that night changed my life forever I know you are in a better place. I've been following Victor Rodriguez Jr.'s case closely and something that's been on my mind is the community's role in supporting investigations like this. I find it so significant how Victor's community came together to hold vigils and events in his memory. It's clear that these efforts were not just about honoring Victor, but also about keeping awareness alive and encouraging people to come forward with any information.
In situations like these, I think the community's voice can be really powerful. It’s incredibly moving to see people uniting for a common cause and supporting Victor’s family during such a devastating time. The fact that the public stayed engaged could have played a part in helping the LAPD eventually crack the case.
I hope we continue to see communities rallying in this way—it can really make a difference and perhaps deter future violence. My thoughts remain with Victor's loved ones; I can only hope that they have found some comfort in the closure from this case. If anyone else has thoughts on how public involvement can aid investigations, I'd be interested to hear them.
