Has anyone looked into any recent updates or efforts being made to honor Melissa Estoy's memory in the Waianae community? I know it's been several years since she vanished, but I'm curious if there's been any initiatives, like a park bench, mural, or annual vigil at Nanakuli Beach Park. These commemorations can sometimes reignite interest in a case and keep the conversation going. It's important for us to remember and not let cases like Melissa's fade away into obscurity. If anyone has any info or resources on how to get involved in something like this, please share!

I've been thinking a lot about the weather conditions the day Melissa Estoy disappeared. Does anyone know if there were any storms or unusual tides going on at Zablan Beach around January 16, 2018? Sometimes, rough surf conditions can be incredibly dangerous and deceptive, even for people familiar with the ocean. Just curious if there's any correlation here that might have impacted the search efforts or given us more insight into what might have happened. If there were higher than usual swells or unexpected currents, it might explain why they couldn't find any trace of her. It's baffling how someone can just vanish without a trace in such a familiar location.
