I've been following the Andre Leavell case, and I can't stop thinking about the impact it must have had on his family and friends, not to mention the entire Green Meadows community. What really stood out to me was how this tragic event has prompted local organizations to push for change. It's good to see the community rallying for stronger safety measures and addressing the root causes of violence, but it’s so disheartening that it took the loss of someone like Andre to get these conversations started. It's been almost two years, and still no word on any suspects or arrests. It must be incredibly difficult for his loved ones to continue without closure. I just hope that someone comes forward with information soon. It’s so important for Andre’s family and the community to see some form of justice served, and for his story to motivate ongoing efforts to curb the violence affecting this neighborhood. Sending strength and solidarity to everyone impacted.
