Hi everyone, I've been following the updates on the Erotic Exotic Halloween Ball tragedy, and my heart goes out to the families of Daron Turner and Terrence Long, and those who were injured. I can't imagine the pain they're going through. What strikes me is the beautifully compassionate response from Terrence's mom, Pamela Welch. Extending forgiveness in such a tough time is truly remarkable and not something you see often. It makes me think about the power of forgiveness in healing, even when faced with unimaginable loss. Has anyone else thought about how acts of grace like this might influence Hykeem Davis and possibly prevent future violence? There's such a deep conversation to be had about the role of empathy and understanding in these situations.
