Have any of you looked into the DOJ's report on the Samuel Soto case? It mentioned something about the LAPD's use of helicopters during incidents like this one. I can't help but wonder how the presence of a helicopter might escalate a situation. With all the noise and chaos, wouldn't that make it harder for officers to communicate effectively on the ground? I really feel for Samuel and his family; it must be incredibly difficult to find closure when there are so many layers to this story. On top of dealing with the trauma of loss, they now have to navigate through all these investigations and reports. It shows just how important it is to keep pushing for improvements in police procedures so future encounters don't end in such tragedy. Thoughts on the helicopter aspect?
