Has anyone else been following how the community has responded since the arrests in Lisa and Ryesha's case? I've been really moved by how neighbors and local groups have rallied together not only to support their families but also to push for broader changes in violence prevention and intervention in New Orleans East. It's been quite something to see how their tragic story has become a catalyst for local activism. I've read about various meetings and initiatives that have sprung up, fueled by a desire to remember Lisa and Ryesha by working toward a safer community. It's inspiring to see this level of engagement and dedication, especially amid all the challenges. While nothing can undo the loss, the way people have come together to fight for change seems like a meaningful tribute to their lives. Does anyone here have more insight on these community efforts or has been involved in some way? Would love to hear more about it.
