Has anyone come across any details about the weather conditions on the night Robert McCabe went missing? I know the reports focused mostly on the search efforts, but I wonder if rough seas or unexpected winds contributed to the accident. It's just odd that nothing about the circumstances of him falling overboard ever came to light. You'd think someone on the boat would have had an idea or noticed if the conditions were sketchy. Maybe it's just my curiosity, but I feel like this missing piece might shed some light on what happened that evening.

Just thinking about how Robert McCabe's disappearance has always seemed so bizarre to me. Given the resources that were deployed – helicopters, boats, the whole lot – it's such a mystery how someone can simply vanish without a trace. I've read reports saying the conditions that day were fairly typical of Key West waters. It makes me wonder if maybe there was something else going on that hasn't been talked about publicly. Anyone know if there were other incidents reported around the same time in the area? Seems like there should have been at least some clue left behind.

Hey everyone, I've been following the Robert McCabe case, and I'm curious if anyone has any insights or theories about what might have happened when he fell overboard. I know it was a tragic accident, but the reports don't really clarify how it all occurred. It seems strange that they searched such a massive area with all those resources and didn't find anything. Could there have been something unusual about the area they were in that made it difficult to locate him? Or maybe something about the weather conditions? I'm hoping someone with more boating experience might have a take on this, as it's been on my mind.
