Has anyone looked into the area around N.C. 55 and Gaston Avenue where Alvin was last headed? Seems like a logical place to start, considering it was his intended destination on March 1, 2018. It's a pretty busy intersection, so maybe someone saw something unusual? Also, with Alvin being a Navy veteran, might be worth checking if there are any veteran support groups or networks in the area that he might have been connected with. It's troubling that his bank account remains untouched – usually not a good sign, but it might help narrow down his last known movements if law enforcement can track his phone activity during that day. Thoughts?
Has anyone delved into the connection between Alvin's vocational rehabilitation and his disappearance? Thinking about it, were there any tensions or odd interactions with peers or supervisors there? I wonder because vocational rehab environments can be a mix of people, and if Alvin was aiming for a nursing assistant certification, it might have involved clinical placements or classes with various folks.
We know he was responsible and deeply committed to caring for his family, which only adds to the mystery. So, could something have gone sideways in that setting that would give us a bit more insight? Or maybe someone from that circle noticed unusual behavior that wasn't reported? Just throwing around thoughts here, but it might be worth reconsidering past statements or looking into this angle. What do you all think?
Hoping for some breakthroughs soon for Alvin's family. They deserve answers.
Does anyone else find it strange that Alvin didn’t touch his bank account or cancel any of his appointments before he went missing? That just makes me question if he really intended on disappearing voluntarily. I mean, it sounds like he was really involved in his mom and sister’s lives, and from what I gather, he wouldn’t just leave them hanging like that.
PTSD is no joke, sure, but he was also on medication, right? So it makes me wonder if maybe there’s something else at play here. Maybe he never made it to meet up with those friends? Could there be more to the story of who he was planning to see that day? The fact that the police haven't found any new clues since he vanished is frustrating. If anyone reads this and knows something, please consider reaching out to the authorities—his family deserves answers.
