I can't stop thinking about how Fernando Uriel Arroyos was actually out looking for a home for his future with his girlfriend. It's so incredibly sad that such a hopeful moment turned into something so tragic. Being an LAPD officer didn't protect him when he needed it the most, which really brings to light the vulnerability we all share, even those tasked with protecting us. It's deeply unsettling how his life was taken in a place where he imagined building a future. My heart goes out to his girlfriend, who not only lost a partner but also had to endure such a traumatic event. I hope she gets the support she needs to heal from this incomprehensible loss. This really emphasizes why the fight against gang violence is so crucial—no one should have their dreams cut short like this.
